How to create a new Parts Franchise

Adding a New Parts Franchise Into Eclipse Parts
To create a new Parts franchise in Eclipse, so you can save part numbers and details to specific code and in future import full parts listings. Please follow these easy steps below.
Whilst you have the Eclipse Parts program, please go to the Eclipse system button in the top left corner of the screen, go to the Manage menu and then click on Franchises.
(If you deal in a lot of parts at your dealership please allow a few moments for the screen to open up.)
Through the Maintain Franchise Details menu that opens up, to create a new franchise click on the ‘Add New’ button.
The New Franchise screen will now pop up -
In this screen you will firstly need to enter a two digit franchise code, this can be letters or numbers or a combination of both, eg: A1 for A1 Accessories, CA for Camec or NI for Nissan Parts, then you need to specify a default Supplier Client by clicking on the three dots, which will take you to the client screen, there you can either search for an existing client or create the company as a new client and then Press select to save the supplier client.
Once you have selected that information you can now enter how you send the order to the supplier and what details you want saved for that franchise.
The last option to configure when creating a new parts franchise is the parts order cut off times, if your supplier does multiple parts runs in a day.
Once you are happy with the configuration of your new franchise hit the "OK" button & your new franchise will be saved.
